The way we produce CBG isolate is almost identical to the way we produce CBD isolate. Starting with a CO2 Extraction method, we produce the CBG crude oil which is high in CBGA as well as other minors in acidic form. The next process is distillation where we remove the waxes, lipids, chlorophyll, and other impurities from the plant. Once the CBG distillate is finished, we then “crash” the CBG crystals out of the oil and begin the final process of removing the leftover terpenes and cannabinoids. The final step is usually a roto-vap to remove any residual solvent and ensure the end product is free of heavy metals, pesticides, microbials, and anything else that could be deemed an adulterant. We then verify these results at two 3rd party labs.
